Workspace basics
The basics live under Settings → General. Only members whose role may manage settings can change them; everyone else sees them read-only.
Country, currency and language
Section titled “Country, currency and language”| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Agency country | Sets the tax rules and the billing profile for your invoices. Required before the first invoice. |
| Default currency | The currency new quotes, projects and invoices start with. Each document can still use another currency. |
| Default language | English or German for the workspace. Each member can choose their own language in their profile. |
| Time zone | Used for dates on time entries and invoices. |
Changing the country later is possible, but check the numbering circles and the billing profile afterwards, see Numbering and billing details.
Modules
Section titled “Modules”Under Modules you switch whole areas of the app on or off. A module that is off does not exist for the workspace: its pages, its API and its tools disappear, and nothing is deleted. Switch it back on and the data is there again.
| Module | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Billing (quotes & invoices) | Quotes, invoices, recurring invoices, payments, reminders |
| Sales (Leads and Deals) | The pipeline and the deals board |
| Email inbox | Connecting a mailbox |
| Reports | The Reports area |
| Custom entities | Your own record types |
| Webhooks | Outgoing webhooks |
| Capacity planning | The planning board, work schedules and absences. Off by default. |
| Resources & bookings | Rooms, equipment and other bookable units. Off by default. |
Billing defaults
Section titled “Billing defaults”Invoice line grouping (Bill project) sets how the Bill project wizard groups logged time into invoice lines: by task and rate, by person, by day, by month, as a single lump sum or by service. Require approval before billing adds an approval step before time can be billed.
Terminology
Section titled “Terminology”Under Terminology you rename the main concepts in English and German, so a consultancy sees engagements where an agency sees projects. See Modules and terminology.
